Chinese characters
Choose how Chinese is shown across Little Lantern. Content is written in Simplified; Traditional is converted automatically.
Word & grammar colours
These colours show how well you know each word and grammar point. You can rename the three statuses too. Grammar you haven’t marked stays purple.
Word highlight
“Colour the word” tints the word text; “Underline the word” underlines it instead. Either way the colour shows how well you know it.
Grammar marker
How grammar points are marked while you read: a dashed underline, or a small book icon sitting on the line.
Admin view
You’re signed in as staff, so Little Lantern shows you extra admin panels and debug tools. Turn Admin view off to preview the site exactly as a normal learner sees it. Nothing changes for real users - it only affects what you see on this device, and you can switch it back here any time.
